Our 39 bed long term care facility is small enough to provide your loved one with the special care and attentiion they need. We are licensed with the state of Pennsylvania and we participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs. Our dedicated team of professionals consist of therapists, activities directors, nursing staff, office personnel, dietitians and maintenance workers; all with the goal of making your loved one's stay as pleasurable as possible. Palmyra provides 24 hour skilled nursing care, supervision and observation. While our nurses are equiped and trained in the latest skilled nursing procedures, they are equally skilled at providing custodial care. Not only do they provide the necessary nursing services, but they do so with a caring warm heart. Our dietary department provides a variety of well balanced meals under the supervision of our certified dietitian. Home style meals are served in our bright and pleasant dining room with a background of soft music. We accomodate all special diets as well as any special requests, whether it be an old favorite such as turkey and sweet potatoes or something as simple as a home-made chocolate milkshake. Attractive lounge rooms provide areas for reading, relaxing, visiting or participating in one of our many activities which are planned by our recreation therapist. In the spring and summer, our courtyard is a popular spot for socializing or simply enjoying the weather. Our primary concern is providing the highest quality of life for each individual resident.
