Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Millville Health Center is a skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility. We provide excellent care and treatment to with Alzheimer Disease and other dementias. Our recently renovated bariatric suites allow us to care for those individuals to whom obesity has become a serious health care issue.
Established in 1974, PRIDE IN CARING is the motto of a very capable and professional team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants who are committed to providing the best care in an attractive and safe environment.
A dedicated staff of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists work closelywith a knowledgeable team of Restorative Nursing personnel to help our residents return to their highest functional level.
Our activities staff is an enthusiastic group of individuals who interrelate well with our resident community by providing a wide array of musical entertainment, games, crafts, social outings, and intergenerational activities involving children of all ages from the local communities. Spiritual needs are met with multi-denominational religious groups providing communion services, bible readings, and various worship services.
The Millville Health Center has a Certified Dietary Manager who carefully plans nutritious meals. Each resident has a personalized diet planned by the Dietitian to meet his/her needs which an excellent and experience kitchen staff prepares.
Our facility is within minutes of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, as well as other community hospitals located in both Bloomsburg and Berwick. Arrangements are made for each resident in need of outside physician visits, or through the use of our medical consulting staff consisting of a Psychiatrist, Bariatric Medical/Surgical Physician, Podiatrist, as well as hearing and eye specialists.
The Social Service staff serves as both an advocate for your loved one as well as a supports system for both families and friends of the resident. A resident council provides a forum for residents of the Millville Health Center to discuss issues and needs that assure a high quality of life within our community.
