Skilled Nursing Care:

At all PennMed skilled nursing facilities, licensed nurses work with certified nurse aides to provide comprehensive nursing care to various types of residents, offering services from short term rehabilitation to hospice. The inter-disciplinary team carefully monitors the resident’s medical and emotional needs and provides a vital link between the resident and the attending physician. Personal Care:

In addition to skilled nursing care, five PennMed buildings can provide Personal Care living for residents who wish to live as independently as possible while still needing some help with their Activities of Daily Living. Independent Living:

Four PennMed Facilities also offer Independent Living for those residents who can live on their own but may benefit from the safety and security of a supervised community. The following facilities offer the option of independent living, Denver Nursing Home, Evergreen Nursing Home, Twin Oaks Nursing Center and Overlook Medical Clinic.

Continence Management:
PennMed has partnered with Silver Care Solutions to provide our residents with a comprehensive Continence Care Program designed to avoid, reduce and treat urinary and bowel incontinence.  Using specialized Nurse Practitioners/Continence Specialists we feel it will greatly improve the health and quality of life for our residents.

Bariatric Care:
PennMed  recently expanded its services to include Bariatric Care at two of our facilities.  This is a specialized program that utilizes a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach designed to help severely obese participants regain their highest level of function.  For additional information please contact either Briarcliff Pavilion or Millville Health Center.
